Job Highlights
Contract: Independent Contractor Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM Pacific Standard Time with an hour unpaid break
Scope
- Handle a few phone calls per day
- Manage a high volume of text messages, responding within 5 minutes
- Collaborate with a team of 14, including doctors, nurses, and health coaches
- Adapt to the company’s communication style, avoiding AI-sounding responses
Responsibilities
- Manage patient communications via texts, chats, phone calls, and emails
- Respond promptly to patient inquiries, ideally within five minutes
- Schedule appointments and assist with basic patient requests
- Provide information about weight loss programs and medications
- Maintain a personable and empathetic communication style
- Follow up on patient concerns and escalate issues when necessary
- Assist with administrative tasks related to patient care
- Utilize communication tools such as Slack, Charm, and Zoho
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Fast learner with strong follow-through capabilities - Ability to type quickly and accurately
- Proficiency in using communication tools such as Slack, Charm, and Zoho
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
- Customer service experience preferred
- Basic understanding of medical terminology related to weight loss (training provided)
- Reliable internet connection and quiet work environment
