ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:Steelhead Collective is a collaboration between non-profit organizations in British Columbia and the United States to support the health of steelhead populations across their range, by sharing information and collaborating on strategic actions. POSITION SUMMARY:The Project Director position is newly-created and is crucial to the Collective’s effective operation. With enthusiastic support from Collective member organizations, operational funding, and an ambitious vision, the Collective is ready to select priority projects and develop strategic action plans to achieve desired outcomes. The Project Director will be entrepreneurial, highly knowledgeable about Steelhead conservation needs and opportunities, well-connected within the Steelhead conservation community, and have a track-record of Steelhead conservation success. In close coordination with and as a member of the Collective’s Design Team, the Project Director will capitalize on growing momentum by strategically selecting goals, weaving together strategies utilizing the capacity and expertise of member organizations, incubating new ideas, raising funds, and elevating our project as a key thought leader.

Workplace & Compensation

Workplace: All team members work from home offices and are required to travel semi-annually for strategic planning retreats, and occasionally for meetings with member groups, fishery managers and policymakers, and existing or potential donors.

Compensation: Multiplier provides a comprehensive compensation package, including competitive salary ($100,000 annual salary), excellent medical and dental benefits, retirement savings, and generous vacation and sick leave policy.
