About the Role:
- Work remotely from an approved state (California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota, Georgia, or Florida) to support our Pharmacy team
- Collaborate with Pharmacy Specialists to obtain prior authorization and co-pay assistance for injectable medications
- Review electronic health records and compare with payer requirements for specific medications
- Support clinics with prior authorization questions and collaborate with physicians, nurses, admissions, and contracting teams
- Coordinate and communicate with patients regarding high-cost drug questions and work with Patients Assistance Programs to support high-cost medication therapies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Prior authorization experience highly preferred
