This is a remote position. Our good client in the East of England is seeking multiple Revenues & Benefits Officers, on a permanent, full-time basis. Roles are offered on a remote basis with the understanding you may be asked to work from the office 1 day per month, and initially for the first few days for training & set-up. Duties include: - Assessment of HB & CTR claims - To determine Council Tax liability in accordance with relevant primary legislation and case law  - To have and maintain a working knowledge of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 and case law - Determine and award discounts and exemptions in accordance with primary legislation and case law - Gather information, explain decisions, and provide advice to the public and their representatives by email, letter, and telephone regarding council tax liability Requirements - A minimum of 3 years Revenues or Benefits experience - Be a skilled Civica OpenRevenues user Benefits - Progressive Salary - Remote working - Local Government Pension Scheme
