Job Summary
As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you will lead production support activities for a group of data analytics products used to support internal bank operations. You will work closely with various technology teams to identify and resolve production issues, analyze complex technical problems, and develop new processes and stage enhancements. You will also serve as a key member in the identification and resolution of production incidents affecting our client data analytics platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production support activities for a group of data analytics products used to support internal bank operations.
- Act as a key member in the identification and resolution of production incidents affecting our client data analytics platform.
- Analyze complex technical problems within a large data environment that require in-depth assessment.
- Lead research and create reports related to ongoing production challenges and present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Lead the development of new project processes and stage enhancements.
- Serve as the contact with the internal team and ensure communication and reporting of delivery from the offshore team.
- Champion continuous improvement, including devising new strategies and new opportunities.
- Contribute to the establishment of performance standards for the team and ensure activities achieve or exceed performance metrics.
- Direct the daily Risk and Control flow of projects, focusing on solutions, methodology, and work guidelines to ensure a successful outcome.
- Lead teams to comply with timelines and drive new initiatives.
- Review, endorse, and execute recommended changes to plans.
- Collaborate and communicate with employees to resolve drives and accomplish technology mandates.
- Act as a mentor to peers.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of investigation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience supporting large data environments.
- 2+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse, and data analytics capabilities on large data engineering like Hadoop.
- 2+ years of experience utilizing a combination of the following tools: HIVE, Panda, Autosys, Grafana, Splunk.
- Past experience supporting Kafka and MongoDB.
