• *What you'll own**
• Conduct and review fair market value analyses in a healthcare context
• Develop and apply valuation methodologies including cost-based, market-based, and income-based approaches to healthcare management fee structures
• Analyze financial statements, operational data, and contractual terms to assess reasonableness of compensation arrangements
• Prepare FMV opinion reports that withstand regulatory scrutiny under Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and other state doctrines
• Benchmark arrangements against industry surveys, comparable transactions, and proprietary datasets
• Present findings and conclusions to clients and others as needed
• *What you should bring**
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or healthcare administration; MBA or graduate degree preferred
• Professional credential preferred: ASA (BV specialty), CVA, ABV, or equivalent
• 3–7 years of experience in valuation, transaction advisory, or regulatory consulting
• Familiarity with Stark Law, AKS, IRS intermediate sanctions rules, and corporate practice of medicine doctrine
• Proficiency with financial modeling tools, valuation databases (e.g., BVR, Pratt's Stats, DealStats), and industry compensation surveys (MGMA, AMGA, SCA)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex analyses for non-technical stakeholders
