As a Business Intelligence Data Analyst, you will transform data into meaningful insights, work closely with business partners, and build reports and dashboards to support data-driven decisions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Transforming data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions across the organization
- Working closely with business partners to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions
- Building and maintaining reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and SSRS
- Leveraging SQL expertise to query and manage data across multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency in reporting outputs
- Supporting data validation, assisting in refining reporting processes, and contributing to documentation that enhances transparency and usability
Skills
- 1+ years of experience in reporting, data analysis, or analytics within a business environment
- Prior experience interpreting business requirements and translating to technical requirements
- Ability to read, write, and modify moderately complex SQL queries
- Prior experience managing data tables and strong knowledge of common data structures and table joins
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills including proficiency in vlookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and writing moderately complex formulas
- Prior hands-on experience providing reporting and/or data visualization using Power BI or SSRS / Visual Studio
- Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- This position allows for a hybrid work schedule which includes a minimum of 3 days per week in our St. Louis Corporate Office, located at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO. All employees are required to submit work from home requests and follow our Work From Home policy, which will be provided to all candidates selected to interview
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, information systems, computer science, or a related field
- Prior experience with Snowflake data cloud
- Exposure to data warehousing concepts or working with large, complex datasets
