The Flexologist Role: Delivering Exceptional Stretching Experiences
As a Flexologist at StretchLab, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to help clients achieve optimal flexibility and wellness. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and lead guided group stretching classes. This role requires a deep understanding of anatomy, a passion for fitness, and the ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and group stretch classes for up to 6 clients, ensuring a high-end experience for every client.
- Learn and perform standard 25 and 50-minute 1:1 stretch sessions, as well as group stretch classes, covering all major muscle groups and extremities.
- Customize stretch sessions to fit the individual needs of clients, assessing their bodies, needs, and discussing outcome goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service, promoting future visits and membership options, and encouraging clients throughout their flexibility training program.
- Manage client care by delivering best-in-class stretching experiences, updating client notes, and booking weekly recurring appointments.
- Ensure client safety by enforcing proper stretch techniques and Studio policies.
- Attend mandatory monthly staff meetings and required educational presentations.
- Assist with studio tours, sales, and maintaining a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention.
- Maintain all equipment to ensure it's available for client use.
Requirements for Success as a Flexologist
To excel as a Flexologist at StretchLab, you'll need to possess a combination of technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and a passion for fitness. The essential qualifications include:
Essential Qualifications:
- A nationally certified and/or licensed credential in a relevant field such as physical therapy, athletic training, chiropractic care, personal training, massage therapy, yoga instruction, or Pilates teaching.
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a fitness facility, private training environment, or professional health setting.
- Superior communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to motivate clients and help them achieve their goals.
- The physical ability to perform stretch routines on clients of all sizes and age groups, including lifting a minimum of 25-30 lbs above the head with ease.
- A passion for continually learning new principles in stretching, anatomy, and overall fitness, health, and nutrition.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on training and experience in areas such as anatomy, kinesiology, corrective exercise, post-rehab, injury prevention, and athletic training.
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provided hands-on training with clients.
- A proven track record of helping clients achieve long-term progress and results.

- Earn a competitive hourly salary ranging from $16.5 to $35 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
