**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for executing strategies that support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of our ocean product. You'll work closely with our MD of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, and analysis, as well as communicate strategies to increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, and enhance service.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Execute strategies to support the growth of ocean volumes and enhance the development of our ocean product
* Work closely with the MD of Ocean to support carrier development, pricing, and analysis
* Analyze carrier service, routings, carrier performance, and support carrier service issues
* Support sales and operations as an ocean subject matter expert
* Implement and communicate strategies to increase volumes, maximize competitiveness, and enhance service
* Assist in implementing pricing programs and review volume targets
* Work with the TLM to develop an ocean strategy that enhances the effectiveness of sales to achieve expectations of account development and yield enhancement
* Communicate both internally and externally to outline strategy, market conditions, and work closely with the MD, Ocean, along with global trade lane team, sales, and operations to communicate direction and deliverables
* Direct and indirect customer contact will also be required
* Work closely with product, sales, and operations to ensure compliance with policies and procedures to minimize company risk
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in data entry or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
* Experience with data entry software and systems
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field
* Experience in the logistics or transportation industry
* Knowledge of ocean freight and transportation
* Experience with data analysis and reporting
* Certification in data entry or a related field
**Skills and Competencies**
