About the Role

As an Analyst II, Ancillary Revenue Data Scientist, you will be responsible for creating and applying statistical modeling and data science techniques to improve Ancillary revenue performance. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive rapid growth in customer-driven, personalized offers and business processes. Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and deliver advanced quantitative analyses and multi-feature models to drive decision-making and actions, either by experts or by systems;
• Leverage large datasets, capabilities in cloud environments, and multiple sources of data to identify signals and integrate those signals into modeling for interpretation, prediction, or production;
• Lead in fulfilling other general research requirements, including Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to gain insights into customers' shopping behaviors and reactions to Frontier's offers;
• Develop modeling hypotheses involving multivariate statistical methodologies as well as current machine learning-based descriptive methodologies;
• Lead the implementation and industrialization of developed models in the production environment, including all phases of the code lifecycle;
• Explain the results of quantitative analysis and multi-feature models and communicate to stakeholders, including senior management;
• Work primarily in Python, MS SQL, and other big data environments;
• Provide expertise in coding and applied economics across Pricing, Revenue Management, and Ancillary teams;
• Develop and deploy customer-driven analytics, using cluster analysis, collaborative filtering, and randomized flexibility testing;
• Create and maintain code standards, code library, and workflows where industrialized processes are essential;
• Participate in peer reviews of scientific plans and code to advance revenue development;
• Help, mentor, and guide junior colleagues;
• Aid in the transition to streaming data for several sources.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field;
• Previous experience with MS SQL, Python, and other big data technologies;
• Demonstrated ability to perform quantitative analysis and model development independently;
• Ability to apply concepts from economics and pricing management to coding models and scientific products;
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Attention to detail for reporting and analysis;
• Ability to work collaboratively with different departments, partners, and staff.

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out as a candidate, you should have:

• A graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or other quantitatively focused programs;
• Past professional experience with statistical analysis software;
• Two (2) years of professional data analysis experience;
• Experience in an airline pricing, yield-or revenue management, revenue analysis, revenue systems, or similar role.
