Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the dictation system and dictated medical reports, collaborating with clinicians, HIMD representatives, and the Department of Clinical Research Informatics (DCRI) as needed.
- Address backend speech recognition service, transcription, and medical editing/quality review related issues in Dolbey, working closely with HIMD and DCRI representatives to ensure seamless resolution.
- Assist the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) or their designee with various dictation and transcription-related tasks, providing expert problem-solving and support.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the requirements and nuances of medical transcription, staying up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in the field.
Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A minimum of three years of direct experience working in electronic medical transcription services, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in dictation and transcription software, such as Dolbey.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinicians, HIMD representatives, and other stakeholders.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy, ensuring the highest quality of medical reports and records.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in a research or clinical setting, with familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare operations.
- Knowledge of speech recognition technology and its applications in medical transcription.
