Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards in Power BI and other applicable BI and web applications to meet the evolving needs of our business units.
- Audit reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity, applying statistical techniques as necessary to validate findings.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs, developing reports that are both informative and easy to interpret.
- Work closely with users and management to establish requirements for new reports or modifications, ensuring proper testing and validation of completed reports.
- Provide timely implementation of data requests, offering a high level of service to internal users and external customers.
- Participate in the testing of our Analytics Database to ensure result accuracy and contribute to the development of user stories.
- Schedule and provide ongoing Power BI training to users, enhancing their ability to leverage data insights.
- Review report usage metrics to track user engagement and follow up with stakeholders to improve report functionality.
- Attend planning sessions with the Project Manager to determine timelines and task names, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Update project management tools as tasks are completed, maintaining transparency and progress tracking.
Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field, although equivalent experience may be considered.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Data and Analytics, with a focus on SQL, Power BI, and Power Platform.
- Proficiency in building SSRS reports, writing SQL queries, and using Power BI, including DAX and M language.
- Strong understanding of RDBMS and data modeling, with the ability to apply deductive and inductive reasoning to solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
