About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspections, tire rotations, and oil changes.
- Diagnose and repair issues with Peterbilt tractors, tanker trailers, PTO, and side dump equipment.
- Utilize diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve mechanical problems efficiently.
- Perform wiring repairs and modifications for truck and trailer lighting systems.
- Work on brake systems, including air-dryers and adjustments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and techniques in the field to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A clean driving record; CDL is a plus.
- Certification from a Mechanic school or a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Experience with diagnostic software and tools.
- Knowledge of Peterbilt tractors, tanker trailers, PTO, and side dump equipment.
- Your own set of mechanic tools.
- Experience with wiring (truck and trailer lighting) and brake systems (air-dryers, adjustments).
- The ability to work in various weather conditions, both inside and outside.
- The capacity to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge:
- Previous experience working with similar companies or in a remote setting.
- Advanced knowledge of truck mechanics, particularly for Peterbilt tractors and associated equipment.
