Job Overview: Senior Regional Marketing Manager, Public Sector
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Regional Marketing Manager to join our Public Sector team, based in or near Reston, VA. As a key player in our marketing strategy, you'll develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to drive pipeline growth and revenue within the federal and SLED sectors. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to balance your time between our remote office and home, ensuring a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to generate qualified leads and drive pipeline growth within the Public Sector market.
- Collaborate with distribution resellers to ensure smooth execution of joint marketing programs and maximize partnership impact.
- Manage the field marketing budget for Public Sector segments, ensuring efficient resource allocation and alignment with strategic goals.
- Oversee joint marketing budgets with partners, tracking ROI and optimizing resource utilization.
- Sales Team Alignment:
- Foster strong relationships with Public Sector sales teams, aligning marketing efforts with their goals and objectives.
- Serve as the primary marketing liaison, providing regular updates, gathering feedback, and refining marketing strategies.
- Public Sector Symposium Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of the annual Public Sector Symposium, a premier event co-hosted with partners and F5's experiential marketing team.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all symposium aspects, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for attendees.
- Market Expertise:
- Leverage a deep understanding of Public Sector procurement cycles and regulations to develop targeted marketing strategies.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance using key metrics to optimize strategies and exceed targets.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or relevant experience.
- 12-15+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on field and channel marketing in technology organizations.
- Public Sector marketing experience highly desired.
- A proven track record of developing and executing strategic marketing plans to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience leading and mentoring cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
