Role Overview
As a Part-Time Venture Analyst at Fieldcrest Ventures, you will play a crucial role in evaluating potential investments, conducting in-depth research into emerging technologies, and developing insights that inform our strategic investment decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Industry Research & Deep Dives: Conduct comprehensive research on emerging technologies, such as AI, biotechnology, advanced manufacturing, and more. Develop detailed reports and presentation decks summarizing key findings, opportunities, and risks.
- Market Analysis: Assess industry trends, survey the competitive landscape, and identify early-stage startups in our target sectors. Focus on uncovering promising opportunities and aligning them with Fieldcrest's strategic mission.
- Investment Evaluation: Assist in evaluating potential investment opportunities, including conducting due diligence and financial analysis, and preparing investment briefs that outline the risk-reward profile.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with the Fieldcrest team to support active operational involvement in portfolio companies, including gathering insights that may assist with growth strategy development, governance, and market expansion.
What We're Looking For
To succeed as a Part-Time Venture Analyst at Fieldcrest Ventures, you will need:
